Recently I had the amazing honor of photographing this Autoshop D.C. wedding for Abby and Alden! This venue is so iconic and gorgeous, I was so excited when I found out the location they chose. These two are just the sweetest souls ever, they are so perfect for each other. Every time they locked eyes it was a like a scene in a movie, everyone could see the love they have for each other. They really set the atmosphere with their incredible energy and excitement. As soon as I got there I knew it was going to be a magical day.
I started by capturing some beautiful detail shots of her shoes, jewelry, dress, and getting ready with her bridesmaids. They were all so excited and happy to be there, it was such a fun morning! I also popped over to the guy’s room and snapped pictures of the groom and groomsmen getting ready and drinking some whiskey. The couple chose to do a first look and it was incredibly beautiful and romantic. Finally, it was time for the ceremony. As the father of the bride walked Abby down the aisle, both her and Alden had tears in their eyes. The ceremony was simply perfect, all the way from the decorations to the vows, it was magic.
Finally, it was time to party! But before the reception officially began, I snuck off with the newlyweds to capture some couple portraits. As we did that, the guests had some drinks up at the rooftop bar overlooking the city. We joined the rest of the party a little while later, and the couple made their grand entrance as Mr. and Mrs. Leclair! The rest of the night was filled with lots of laughter, love, and dancing of course! I’m so honored that Alden and Abby trusted me to capture their Autoshop D.C. wedding, and I hope they cherish these photos for a lifetime!
