So I have a secret… I have lived on Long Island (NY) my whole life, and I’ve never been to the Brooklyn bridge before !!! I know so crazy right! But that is what made Angela + Dan’s engagement session that much more fun for me! Not only was I so stoked to get to capture Angela + Dan, but also for them to show me around Brooklyn and experience what I never have living in NY.
Although we didn’t go up to walk on the bridge, weather and time just wouldn’t allow, we still were able to walk around DUMBO Brooklyn + get awesome shots with the bridge in the background. Even with a super cold day (it started flurrying just a bit that morning!) Angela + Dan braves the cold and there will still lots of people out and about during this time. We even saw a couple of wedding parties and several couples also taking engagement photos! We dodged cars, and drank some good coffee and in the end found the MOST MAGICAL little area with tons of warm string lights that just screamed at us to take photos there. It was an awesome time together and I just loveddd getting to photograph these two.
They are THE sweetest couple and I loved getting to peek into their relationship and capture the romance between them. You could feel the genuine desire to just be together, you could feel how much they cared for each other and were so excited to be married to one another this upcoming fall. They made my job easy and I loved getting to hangout with them for an afternoon and start to dream up all about how amazing their wedding day is going to be !
Congratulations Angela + Dan and I cannoottt wait to capture y’all in November !
