I am so in love with these Historic House engagement photos! Olivia + Nate are such kind, sweet souls and it is always a pleasure having them in front of my camera. We were trying to decide on a location and wanted something that both had nature and some elegance to it. When we found Oatlands Historic House I knew it would be the perfect backdrop to capture their relationship. Some last minute rain storms caused us to reschedule, but then the weather showed off with an beautiful evening and an absolutely gorgeous sunset.
We were able to find a bunch of beautiful backdrops around the House, we had a little champagne picnic on the front lawn, walked along the tree-covered path, and found the cutest brick wall that made for the perfect background.
About a year ago I shot a couples session with Olivia and Nate and now getting to take their engagement pictures was such an honor. It is seriously the biggest compliment to photographers when clients keep coming back for all their big milestones! I love getting to hang out with these two and capture their beautiful love story, I am so stoked for their wedding this fall!
