I recently had the opportunity to shoot one of the most heartwarming and surprise-filled engagement sessions ever! Ashely and David’s Raven’s Roost engagement was simply magical. I’m still totally swooning over these two and their sweet proposal. Ashely + David are the type of couple where you just click immediately with them and it becomes so easy to just have an amazing time together. You can see immediately when you’re with them how well they compliment each other and how much love they share for each other.
First things first, I have to say that Ashley and David are just the cutest couple you could imagine. They radiate love and their chemistry is absolutely contagious. As far as Ashely knew, they were just getting some couple portraits taken. But David had a different plan! We concocted the perfect plan, as they were posing I told her to smile at me as he slipped behind her and knelt down, ring in hand. As she turned, her jaw dropped and tears filled her eyes. Through tears of happiness, she managed to get out a “Yes!” and he lovingly slipped the ring onto her finger. She was so happy, they both were as they held each other close.
Overall, everything about this Raven’s Roost engagement was perfect. The location they chose only enhanced the magic between this couple. Capturing their love was an incredible honor and I had so much fun. I’m so pumped to be able to capture their wedding day and to cry and laugh with them during what I know will be such a beautiful day! To Ashley and David, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this incredible journey. Your love is an inspiration, and I cannot wait to capture more of your beautiful moments together.
