I absolutely loved capturing the beautiful memories of Ryan and Becca’s Rock Creek Park engagement session. It was the perfect location for this sweet couple! We were going for a forest-greenery, romantic vibe, and Rock Creek Park most definitely did not disappoint. The golden light that poured through the trees was simply magical. The mix of lights and shadows created such a beautiful dimension around the two of them. It was mesmerizing to witness the love between these two, and I loved capturing every moment.
Firstly, this couple’s energy was amazing. They were just so happy to be there and be together capturing these precious moments with each other. It was such a fun shoot, we found so many spots hidden away in the trees and by the river. The water was so stunning and just added an extra level of beauty and romanticism to the shoot. We moved to a more open area and got some shots of them on a picnic blanket on the grass. Ryan + Becca had the perfect champagne spray when they popped the bottle! That was one of my favorite moments. Then I got some shots of them drinking the champagne out of these gorgeous champagne glasses together with some detail shots of her gorgeous ring.
Overall, the evening was so gorgeous getting to capture these two sweet souls. This Rock Creek Park engagement session was definitely one for the books and a day I won’t forget anytime soon. The photographs at Rock Creek Park served as a reminder of the romantic journey of Ryan and Becca. For me, as the photographer, it was an opportunity to capture the memories and tell the story of their journey. I am so thankful to have been a part of it and for the opportunity to tell their story. It was an honor to capture such a wonderful couple in such a beautiful location.
