Last year, I had the pleasure of getting to capture a Shenandoah adventure engagement shoot! It was an early morning together at Shenandoah and it was most certainly worth it for Caty + Sean’s engagement photos. I always love my adventure sessions in Shenandoah, getting to go to different spots and overlooks to create unique sessions is so much fun. The fall colors came through for this shoot and provided the best backdrop for C+S’s photos.
We arrived just in time for sunrise, and the lighting was a dream. The golden glow and warm hues complimented the vibe of the shoot perfectly. The warmth brought out the colors of the changing leaves and made it feel so romantic. We explored so much of the park and found a ton of many amazing picture spots. Toward the end we found ourselves hidden in the trees with the mountains as the backdrop. They were totally natural in front of the camera and completely relaxed while posing, which makes the outcome so beautiful and genuine.
Overall it was a fantastic day and a magical shoot. They brought all the laughter and a dang good playlist to keep us going for this sunrise! We were able to capture so many amazing shots that truly captured their love. And I am so excited about their wedding next year!
