I recently had the honor of capturing Andrew and Reagan’s amazing Union Station engagement photos in Washington D.C. It was such an absolutely breathtaking experience, and I was so excited to capture such a special moment in their lives. There’s so much history there and you can feel it everywhere you go. It added such a romantic feeling overall to the shoot, which was perfect! Truly, there’s nothing like Union Station, it was the perfect backdrop for what the couple wanted.
We started the session by taking a walk through the long and elegant hallways. They were totally natural in front of my camera as they posed so perfectly together. Every single photo feels so incredibly romantic and timeless, like long-lost soulmates who have finally found each other. The love Andrew and Reagan have for each other is palpable, you can feel it just by looking at them. We continued on and took some portraits outside, and then we found a gorgeous staircase that we had to stop at. Finally, we ended the station outside in the courtyard in front of the Capital building. These photos are some of my all-time favorites, having such an important time of your life photographed in such a historical and grand place is truly so special and memorable.
When the session ended, I left with beautiful memories of this gorgeous Union Station engagement session, and I hope Andrew and Reagan did as well. It was absolutely magical, we had so much fun and also got to see some incredible places in Washington D.C.! Walking around with them was such a treat, and capturing the sweet intimate moments between them was so special. I’m so honored that they trusted me to take their engagement photos. And I can’t wait for them to get married already!!
