Back in December, I had the incredible honor of photographing a Key West destination elopement for Daniele and Benton! It was one of the most beautiful elopements I’ve gotten to be a part of. Having it in December was the perfect time for it, the weather was simply perfect and the soft ocean breeze was so dreamy. Everything had a tropical and beachy feeling to it, and it felt like we were on our own little island. The bride and all of her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready, and Daniele popped a bottle of champagne!
After the bride and her girls were ready, it was time for the first look. It was absolutely adorable, as soon as Benton turned around they both had tears in their eyes. Next, we took some group shots. We walked around to different parts of the town and got some really awesome pictures of the bride and groom with their parties. Finally, we made it to the beach where I took some beautiful. and romantic portraits of the couple. They even brought their dog in on the pictures! Next up was the incredible ceremony. My favorite shot was when Daniele’s father was giving her away, the raw emotion on their faces was so amazing to witness. It was an emotional ceremony, the love the couple had for each filled the entire space and we could all feel just how much they love each other.
Finally, it was time to party! They had the time of their lives dancing and drinking with their friends. The food was incredible, as well as the atmosphere. I’m so honored that they asked me to capture their Key West destination elopement, it was such a dream. I hope they truly cherish these photos and look back at them over the years to relive the memories! And of course, I can’t wait for my next destination session!
